Job summary

Genuine Foods in Banner Elk, NC is hiring a barista to join our school environment team. You will craft drinks to order, greet customers, and uphold food safety and Genuine standards while delivering friendly service.

The role involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and contributing to a positive campus experience for students and staff. This full-time, hourly position offers growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of food or customer service experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant.
• Prior barista experience preferred.
• Must be flexible and team-oriented.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness.
• Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Genuine quality customer service to all clientele by greeting, thanking, etc.
• Craft drinks to order with care and accuracy.
• Ensure food safety standards are being followed.
• Provide great customer service following Genuine standards.
• Maintain a clean working environment and help the team with any additional cleaning duties.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
