Job summary

DHL Mahi Staffing, LLC is seeking a friendly barista for our Market location in Waimea, Hawaii. The role involves crafting specialty coffee drinks, preparing and selling food items, and assisting customers with retail purchases in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Weekend and holiday availability is required; CPR/First Aid and Tuberculosis clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and closing hours.
• One year of barista or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Tuberculosis Clearance.
• CPR certification, First Aid Training, or Yellow Card certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, and prepare and sell food items in the store.
• Assist customers with retail items and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Market area and merchandise.

The base salary for this position is $21.05.

Join the Goat Squad, and you will immediately become part of an active community in our Market, which is located at the heart of the resort. The barista will create specialty coffee beverages, prepare and sell food items, and retail items in the store. The successful candidate will be friendly, outgoing, efficient, and adaptable. This person will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous barista experience preferred.
