Job summary

Genuine Foods in Garden City, NY is hiring full-time Cashiers and Baristas to greet customers, craft drinks, and ring up purchases in a school setting. You will maintain clean, safe work areas and deliver warm, friendly service that reflects the Genuine culture.

The role requires at least 1 year of barista experience in a high-volume café, a positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset. Compensation includes health benefits, retirement options, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of barista experience in a mid- to high-volume café or coffee shop.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness.
• Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
• Must be able to work in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide genuine quality customer service by greeting and thanking customers.
• Craft drinks to order with care and accuracy.
• Ring out guests at the cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure food safety standards are being followed.
• Provide great customer service following Genuine standards.
• Maintain a clean working environment and help with cleaning duties.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
