Job summary

Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality management, operates Tuckers Cove Town Center in Punta Gorda, FL. We are seeking a friendly Barista to join our fast-paced café team and deliver quality coffee, great service, and a clean, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of POS systems, and can communicate in English. Part-time and full-time roles are available at $15.00 per hour.

As part ofTroon, youll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour, Part-time and Full-time positions available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
• Ensure composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold company standards for beverage and food preparation.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Regularly clean, restock, and organize the caf space.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Handle cash transactions accurately.
• Communicate promptly with management regarding operational needs or issues.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Guide and train new hires to maintain service and quality standards.
• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Minimum Qualifications for the Barista

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of POS system.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
