SSP America is hiring a Barista to work at our coffee shop located inside Phoenix International Airport. The position pays $24.95 per hour plus daily tips and is full time, with two weeks of paid vacation and benefits partly covered by the employer.

Career development and advancement opportunities are available. As a Barista, you will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and serve a variety of drinks and foods.

Formación

• One year of experience in a food service environment.
• Verbal and written communication abilities to read, speak, and understand English for order taking.
• Experience handling customer service problems.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, totals, and change.
• Ability to memorize and promote menu items; operate a keyboard and POS to pre-check orders and close checks.
• Ability to stand for long periods in confined spaces.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.

We are currently hiring for a Barista to work at our coffee shop located inside the Phoenix International Airport.

Here are a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Barista:

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required. Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Has

• One year of experience working in food service environment
• Verbal and written communication Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Experience in dealing with problems involving customer service.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items. Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time
