Job summary

Birley Bakery on Madison Avenue in the Upper East Side seeks a talented Barista to join our world-class hospitality brigade. Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will craft exceptional beverages, support a high standard of service, and uphold the polished environment of the shop.

You’ll work with front-of-house teammates to ensure guests receive outstanding experiences, with early mornings, nights, weekends and holiday shifts required. Full-time or part-time availability is welcome.

Qualifications

• Proven success as a Barista within specialty coffee or high-volume café.

We are seeking a talented Barista to join our world- class hospitality brigade. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Barista will work closely with the front-of-house team members responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, maintaining a high standard of service, and upholding the polished environment of the shop.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven success as a Barista within specialty coffee or high-volume café.
• Strong knowledge of espresso equipment and dialing in.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Friendly, guest-focused, and team-oriented.
• To actively assist in the food and beverage service at the counter and in the dining room.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including early morning, nights, weekends and holidays per the needs of the business.
• Full-time or Part-time availability.
