Job summary

Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, seeks a personable Barista to deliver exceptional coffee experiences for guests of the Naples Trading area. You will showcase knowledge of specialty coffees, assist with menu recommendations, and contribute to a high-touch service environment.

Join a luxury resort team that values guest satisfaction, quality beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere. The role includes flexible afternoon/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays within a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality with can-do approach.
• Knowledge of coffee, espresso, and tea preparation methods.
• Experience in luxury resort or high-end hotel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of drip and specialty coffees per menu and Four Seasons standards.
• Confirm guest orders and ensure accuracy using the POS system.
• Engage guests at the bar with vivid descriptions of items and preparation methods.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to concerns and requests.
• Clean coffee machine and maintain workspace.
• Close guest checks and process payments, resolving any discrepancies with management.

About The Role:

The Barista provides exceptional quality and service to Naples Trading guests. In this role, the Barista will serve guests’ needs by providing exceptional knowledge of specialty coffees as well as information regarding preparation methods and personalized service.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and serve a selection of drip and specialty coffees from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s taste and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of coffee and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Clean coffee machine.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items with manager assistance.

What You Bring:

• An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
• High level of understanding and knowledge of coffee, espresso and tea, including preparation methods
• Background in Luxury Resort and Hotel considered an asset

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a full-time position.
