EOS Hospitality LLC is seeking a friendly Barista for the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. This is a part-time, year-round position with open availability, including weekends and holidays.

You will prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, educate guests on the drink menu, and maintain a clean, inviting coffee bar setup while delivering great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet, take orders, and prepare beverages and food in a friendly, timely manner.
• Educate customers on the drink menu and make recommendations.
• Upsell additional items to increase profitability.
• Enter orders into a computerized system and settle checks.
• Prepare drinks following standard recipes and portion control.
• Handle cash, give change, and balance transactions.
• Maintain daily setup of the coffee bar and stock supplies.
• Respond to guest complaints tactfully and resolve issues.
• Perform general cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards.

The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. This resort is home to the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation Condos, and Royal Palms. As a Barista, you will prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Greets, prepares, services, and takes guests' orders for beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, professional and timely manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Educate customers on our drink menu, making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Upsells additional items to enhance profitability. Enters orders into a computerized system and settles check(s) upon completion of order.
• Makes and/or presents drinks using standard ingredient(s)/recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
• Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all transactions.
• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the coffee bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning, stocking and rotating all products needed.
• Respond to guest complains in a positive and tactful manner, negotiate a compromise and implement solution.
• Locks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops, secures and balance bank and sign out/in keys.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
