Job summary

Mililani Town Association in Mililani Town, HI, seeks a café associate to provide prompt service and quality products in a clean, friendly environment. You will handle cash, operate register and card terminals, and open/close the cafe safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare café menu items by using standard facility equipment and following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Unlock and secure café upon opening and closing.
• Assume responsibility for quality of products prepared and served.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following MTA and Department of Health standards for cleanliness, food handling and sanitation.
• Greet all customers, maintain a friendly, courteous and cheerful demeanor, answer customer questions and provide prompt service.
• Perform light janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, wiping countertops and tabletops and removing trash.
• Maintain and operate all café equipment per manufacturer and company specifications.
• Follow policies and procedures in place to help control food cost and minimize waste.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned
