Qualifications

• Experience in barista or café roles is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated passion for specialty coffee and willingness to learn brewing techniques.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
• Availability on weekends.

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient counter service.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and café area.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and equipment.

• Educate customers on seasonal offerings, roast profiles, and brewing methods.
• Support opening and closing duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages to customer specifications
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient counter service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and café area
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Educate customers on seasonal offerings, roast profiles, and brewing methods
• Support opening and closing duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous barista or café experience preferred but not required — we're happy to train the right person
• Passion for specialty coffee and a desire to learn about roasting and brewing techniques
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
• Must be available weekends
