Job summary

The Clapping Monkey House of Coffee in Fridley is hiring a part-time Barista to help create a welcoming place where people can be themselves. The role includes preparing beverages and food, guest service, register duties, stocking, dishes, cleaning, prep, and opening/closing tasks.

Coffee experience is helpful but not required. Shifts range from approx. 2.5 to 8 hours; morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability is appreciated. Pay is $11.50/hour plus tips when scheduled as a Barista.

The Clapping Monkey House of Coffee is a locally queer-owned, pop-and-pop coffee shop in Fridley built around great coffee, food, hospitality, creativity, and community. We're hiring part-time Baristas to help create a welcoming place where people can comfortably be themselves.

This is a hands-on role that includes preparing beverages and food, guest service, register, stocking, dishes, cleaning, prep, and opening and closing duties as assigned. Coffee experience is helpful but not required.

What we're looking for

• Reliable attendance, respectful communication, and dependable follow-through
• Ability to learn recipes and procedures and work accurately in a fast-paced environment
