River Crest Country Club in Fort Worth, TX is seeking full- and part-time Baristas for Crest Cafe. Pay is $18–$20 per hour plus a 16% service charge based on verifiable experience. Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth's oldest country club.

Baristas will prepare the cafe area, stock items, and make a wide variety of hot and cold drinks while taking phone orders. They work with ToGo orders and provide friendly, high-quality service to Members and Guests.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, computer and math literate, good verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to operate an Espresso machine and make blended drinks.
• Must have excellent phone skills for taking orders.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurate tasks and interruptions.
• Must present a neat and clean personal appearance.
• Must have timely, reliable attendance.
• Must have a professional, courteous attitude toward Members, Guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Set up café and ToGo stations and maintain adequate supplies.
• Provide immediate attention to Members and Guests upon phone and in person.
• Answer menu questions.
• Suggest coffee or tea drinks and ToGo items.
• Present specials and menu items.
• Take orders and input into POS system in a timely manner.
• Bag and assemble ToGo orders correctly.
• Present bill and handle tickets.
• Report any complaints to supervisor promptly.
• Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by Manager.
• Greet Members and Guests by last name when possible.
• Observe club policies in dealings with Members and non-members.
• Work at events in various club positions.

River Crest Country Club is looking to add Full & Part Time Barista's for our Crest Cafe. Pay is $18 - $20 per hour plus 16% Service Charge based on verifiable experience. Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth's oldest and most storied country club.

JOB SUMMARY

Baristas are responsible for preparing café area for food and beverage service by stocking items needed on a daily basis. Baristas will be responsible for making a wide variety of hot and cold drinks as well as taking orders on the phone. Baristas will work closely with ToGo food orders.

Education Required

Food Handlers Certification; TABC if 18 years old (within 30-days of hire; will provide)

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS

• Set up café and ToGo stations and maintain adequate supplies
• Provide immediate attention to all Members and Guests upon phone and window operations
• Answer menu questions
• Suggest coffee or tea drinks as well as Togo items
• Present specials and suggest menu items
• Take orders and put in POS computer system in a timely manner
• Take correct orders and bag assembly of Togo orders
• Present bill
• Handle all charge tickets
• Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur
• Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by Manager
• Report to the supervisor to receive instructions of any special duties or events
• Completes all service duties in accordance with the guidelines for high standards of service set forth by the Club
• Greet Members and their Guests by last name whenever possible
• Ensure that Members and their Guests receive immediate attention and service upon arrival
• Observe all club policies in dealing with Members and non-members in club usage
• Ensures that all established service procedures and standards are adhered to and performed with the emphasis on giving superior service to the Members
• Work special events for the Club in a variety of positions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and move entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials/objects
• Able to comfortably lift up to 40 lbs
• Use hands and arms to handle, install, position, move materials, and manipulate objects
• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
• Able to work in a fast paced, noisy environment
