The Barista at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is responsible for delivering high-quality coffee and beverage experiences to guests, building friendly service, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Starting wage is $20.00/hr for winter seasonal 2026/2027 with full-time and part-time hours; housing available; must be 18+; training provided.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; training provided.
• Desire to learn and grow.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

• Make connections with guests and co-workers
• Share our passion for the mountains during service
• Follow the leadership’s guidelines as outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting
• Create hot and cold beverages to specifications
• Maintain clean and tidy workstations throughout, and at the end of the workday

Job Summary

The Barista is responsible for ensuring that all Resort guests have the highest quality food and beverage experience possible by providing exceptional barista skills to include; Provides customers with prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation. S/he ensures customers and employees will experience a friendly, upbeat and clean atmosphere.

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
