Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cafe station, including regular cleaning of espresso equipment.

Position Summary

We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Barista to prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other cafe beverages to standard, deliver excellent guest service, and keep the cafe station clean, stocked, and running efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craft and consistency behind the espresso machine.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, matcha, refreshers, etc.) according to recipe and presentation standards
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other cafe equipment safely and correctly
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and make menu recommendations
• Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system
• Maintain consistency and speed during high-volume rushes (e.g., morning cafe hours)
• Prepare and present pastries and grab-and-go food items to standard
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, milk, coffee beans, and other cafe supplies throughout the shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cafe station, including regular cleaning of espresso equipment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Communicate guest allergies or special requests clearly and adjust drinks/food accordingly
• Assist with opening/closing cafe duties, including stocking and cash-out procedures
• Support promotions such as new seasonal drinks, punch cards, and loyalty programs

• Frequent reaching, bending, and repetitive motion (steaming milk, pulling shots, restocking)
