Barista

Job Summary

Medici Roasting is looking for hospitality professionals to join our team! The ideal candidate must be able to provide excellent customer service while multitasking in a high-volume environment. Prior barista experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

1. Customer Service: Taking orders, managing customer flow, and proactively meeting customer needs. Building goodwill through excellent service and maintaining integrity at all times.
2. Quality Control: Ensuring beverage excellence by performing daily quality checks on brewed coffee, pour overs, iced tea, hot tea, flash brew, and toddy. Preparing all beverages according to standard procedures.
3. Team Work: Assisting coworkers by keeping the store stocked and clean, including lifting boxes up to 50 lbs and washing dishes, which involves turning and bending.
4. Retail Sales: Using product knowledge to meet customer needs for whole beans and grab-and-go items, understanding the importance of meeting business targets through teamwork.
