Overview

Opportunity: Barista

Provide quality barista services in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.

Your Growth Path

Head Barista – Host or Hostess – Guest Service Agent

Your Focus

1. Take coffee, beverage, and food orders, input orders into POS system, collect payment, and prepare orders.
2. Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
3. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and ensuring appliances are turned on/off at appropriate times.
4. Stock and maintain work areas.
5. Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day.
6. Handle cash by obtaining change, counting the bank at shift end, completing cashier reports, resolving discrepancies, and securing the bank.
7. Comply with all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements related to food and alcoholic beverages.
8. Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
9. Adhere to sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
10. Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Your Background and Skills

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Customer service experience preferred.
3. Barista experience a plus.
