Job summary

Lovelace Medical Group in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our bariatrics team. You will provide medical weight management, conduct pre/post-operative follow-up, and assist in the operating room. Work with a multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.

The role features a Mon-Fri 8-5 schedule, on-site Tricore lab, and Epic Ambience AI EMR, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Current licensure in the state of New Mexico
• must be able to obtain a DEA registration and New Mexico board of pharmacy prescriptive authority by the time of employment
• excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills are required
• experience and medical weight management is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical weight management.
• Conduct pre- and post-operative bariatric surgical follow-up.
• Assist in the operating room.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
