Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Bariatrics team. The role supports providers with patient care, ancillary services, and office operations in line with PNHS policies.

Fulltime 0.8 FTE with a Monday–Friday 7am–5pm schedule. Candidates should have graduated from a CAAHEP/ABHES-accredited MA program and hold BLS certification, plus strong communication and computer skills to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
• BLS provider status per AHA guidelines.
• Strong clinical and human relations skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and ethics as per AAMA.
• Basic computer/keyboard/mouse skills.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development for patient safety.
• Operates health testing equipment, PC, copier, printer, FAX, and phone.

• Aids providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies.
• Utilize broad-based skills in patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices.
• Support clinic operations and patient flow as part of the Bariatrics team.
