Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Bariatric Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join the team at Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. The role blends clinic and hospital responsibilities with no on-call or weekend requirements and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

The APP will deliver care to bariatric patients, perform pre/post-operative assessments, participate in treatment planning, and conduct monthly visits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with ACNP or Physician Assistant
• At least 1 year of APP experience

Opportunity Details

Position Details Include

• Join a growing Bariatric Surgery team with a BC Bariatric/General Surgeon and dedicated support staff
• Blend of clinic and hospital responsibilities
• No call or weekend responsibilities
• Schedule will be Mon - Fri from 8 AM - 4:30 PM.
• The Bariatric Surgery APP will be responsible for the delivery of care to bariatric candidates and patients as well as pre/post-operative assessment and responsibilities
• Be a part of patient treatment planning, counseling, and monthly office visits to review progress.
• In-office procedures include wound assessment and lap band fills

Educational/Experience Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
• At least 1 year of APP experience required

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure /physician assistant licensure

Compensation And Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72 - $78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
