Skilled Wound Care in Huntsville, AL is hiring Bariatric Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. Enjoy a no-call lifestyle with weekday hours, clinical autonomy outside the hospital, and the chance to keep your surgical skills active in bedside procedures.

You’ll evaluate chronic wounds, use advanced dressings, and collaborate with care teams. Full-time compensation ranges from $250,000 to $500,000 per year, plus per‑patient/per‑procedure pay and quarterly bonuses;

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Open background; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting.
