Job summary

Trinity Health of New England is seeking a registered dietitian to provide specialized nutritional care within a fast-paced surgical bariatrics specialty practice. You will assess patients, design care plans, monitor outcomes, and communicate findings to physicians, staff, patients, and families.

The role emphasizes evidence-based nutrition and collaboration with the care team, with full-time hours and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, or related field as required by CDR
• CDR registration and state licensure as a licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN) are required
• 1 year of experience as a dietitian preferred
• Allergen awareness and Serv Safe training preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills to explain clinical concepts to physicians and families

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient-specific nutritional care plans and interventions.
• Provide nutrition information to physicians, staff, patients and families.
• Educate patients on food/drug interactions and monitor for interactions.
• Document assessments, education, plans and goals in the EMR using standardized language.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care teams to clarify orders and share patient information.
