Job summary

Zen-Noh Grain Corporation (ZGC) operates a grain export terminal in Convent, Louisiana, and seeks a general laborer to support loading and unloading barges and trucks. The role performs a wide range of duties based on daily needs, including cleaning, maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols under the company Safety Program.

The position requires basic math, good interpersonal communication, and the ability to follow directions, troubleshoot, and work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No previous experience required; 1 year in an industrial environment preferred.
• Basic math, strong communication, and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload barges and trucks according to daily needs.
• Participate in safety program and wear required PPE.
• Perform barge deckhand duties and cargo transfer tasks.
• Maintain grain quality and complete required documentation.
• Assist with general cleaning, maintenance and housekeeping.
