Qualifications

• Able to pass a physical exam with respirator fit test; clean shaven.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tank barges' hulls, documentation, cleanliness, safety systems, machinery and fittings.
• Travel daily to multiple local sites; assist barge operations; ensure barges ready for cargo transfer.
• Perform minor maintenance on pumps, engines, boilers, and heaters; troubleshoot components.
• Follow safety, environmental, and barge processes; use proper PPE; operate as lone worker when needed.
• Represent Canal Barge Company professionally with dock personnel and external parties.
