Job summary

Canal Barge Company in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Fleet Optimization and Customer Service Coordinator to plan and optimize the deployment of the tank barge fleet, ensuring strong customer service and efficient operations.

You will serve as the primary contact for customers during execution, allocate barges with the Allocation team, and coordinate with Tank Marketing, Transportation Services and Port Operations to maximize uptime and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Allocate fleet barges based on customer requirements and fleet needs.
• Serve as primary contact for customers during execution and address service issues.

• Maintain forward-looking view of demand and scheduling to minimize downtime.
