Job Title: Barber or Beautician

Get paid by residents for beauty services. You set your own schedule to come in and do residents' hair.

DUTIES:

• Maintain equipment and the parlor in a clean and tidy manner daily.
• Style hair according to residents’ requests and preferences.
• Use chemicals to achieve permanents, relaxers, and color competently.
• Promote a friendly and positive atmosphere in the beauty parlor.
• Ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Have knowledge of chemicals and processes used in services.
• Respond promptly and sensitively to residents' needs during beauty services.
• Maintain a beauty parlor log for residents being serviced.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current State license in cosmetology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience as a beautician or barber.
• Experience in a healthcare facility is preferred but not required.
