Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Barber License required.
• Current Tennessee Barber Instructor License required.
• Two+ years of professional barbering behind-the-chair experience.
• Passion for barbering, teaching, mentoring and helping others succeed.
• Strong communication skills with ability to demonstrate techniques clearly.
• Willingness to hold students accountable while providing support to improve.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate classic and modern barbering techniques including fades, clipper work, beard design, and straight-razor shaves.
• Provide hands-on instruction to help students develop technical skills and professional habits.
• Offer constructive feedback and individualized guidance to build student confidence.
• Model professionalism, client service, sanitation, safety, and industry best practices.
• Maintain a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and educational records accurately.
• Collaborate with Educators to deliver high-quality student and client experiences.
• Support daily school operations to foster a thriving learning environment.
