Job summary

Milan Institute in Merced, CA is seeking a Barber Instructor to mentor and teach students in both the clinic and classroom, using our approved curriculum. You will help prepare students to pass the State Board and ensure compliance with board rules.

Ideal candidates have a current barber license, 3–5 years of barber experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Some remote elements may be available while the role remains primarily in-person.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Barber license per State requirement.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Barber experience.
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Computer skills necessary.
