Job summary

Milan Institute in Bakersfield seeks a Part-time Barber Instructor to mentor and teach students using a company-approved curriculum on the clinic floor and in the classroom.

You will prepare students to pass the California State Board exam and help maintain records, attend faculty meetings, and support student development. This part-time role includes day/evening shifts with some remote hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Barber license per State requirement.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Barber experience.
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Computer skills necessary.
