We are a well-established shop that has been in business for over 40 years at the same location! Generations of families have been coming in throughout the years. It is a very friendly, casual environment to work in. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 to 5:30, Thursday from 8:30 to 7:00, and Saturday from 8:30 to 3:00. The position offers a 25% daily chair rental, and you are responsible for your own taxes.

Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Barber/Cosmetologist at The Hair Spot LLC located in Ann Arbor, MI. The Barber/Cosmetologist will be responsible for hair cutting on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Barbering / Cosmetology skills
• Hair care and hair cutting skills
• Experience in hair styling and cutting techniques, including beard trims
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Cosmetology or Barber license required
• Previous experience in a salon or barber shop is a plus
