• Perform advanced hair styling techniques such as fades, tapers, and intricate designs to meet client preferences.
• Apply hair coloring techniques based on color theory to achieve desired looks while maintaining high sanitation standards.
• Offer additional beauty services like hair extensions, threading, makeup application, and nail care to enhance client satisfaction.
• Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and upselling opportunities to boost retail sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices by sharing expertise in cosmetology practices and customer communication skills.

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on barbering or hairstyling.
• Familiarity with salon software platforms such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Skilled in hair coloring techniques with a solid understanding of color theory principles.
• Proficient in haircutting styles including traditional cuts, fades, tapers, and detailed designs using straight razors when appropriate.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Experience working with diverse client needs involving hair care, extensions, threading, makeup application, and nail care is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective client consultation and relationship building.
• Ability to manage store operations or assist with store management tasks as needed.
