Job summary
The Final Cut Sports Barbershop in Newington is seeking a CT State licensed Barber/Hair Stylist to join our busy family-owned barbering team. We focus on great customer service, quality haircuts, and an upbeat environment to work in.
Must be available to work weekends and be reliable. The ideal candidate is career oriented, a team player, and eager to learn beyond current skills. You will cut men's and boys' hair and provide friendly service in a family-friendly shop.
Qualifications
- Must have CT State barber license.

- Able to deliver quality haircuts and great customer service.
- Reliability and weekend availability are essential.

We are looking for the right candidate who is career focused and is eager to work and make money. Must be available to work weekends! Reliability is 100% essential!
- Must have an up-to-date license for barbering, hairdressing, or cosmetology in the state of CT. We will NOT consider applicants who are not licensed.
- Must have a great personality and great attitude.
- Must be skilled at cutting men's / boys' hair.
- Must be good with / patient with kids. (We are family friendly)
- Must enjoy working as part of a team.
- Must be willing to learn beyond your skill set.
- Must be career oriented and have a professional manner.
- Must be dependable.
- Must be willing to work weekends.
Pay is hourly or commission based on experience and hours worked (We do not rent chairs).
