Brooklyn Brewery in Brooklyn, NY is seeking Barbacks and Drink Runners to support bartenders across the Main Hall and event spaces. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and helps create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior barback, busser, or food and beverage support experience preferred.
• Strong background in hospitality and/or community engagement.
• Friendly and committed to making all guests feel welcome.
• Team-oriented approach and a strong work ethic.
• Developed knowledge of beer and the beer industry, or a genuine desire to learn.
• Ability to communicate clearly and engage effectively with guests while maintaining a friendly sense of humor.
• Fluency in another language is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Restocking beer, liquor, mixers, ice, and glassware throughout each shift
• Changing kegs and CO2 tanks, with the ability to lift or move 50 pounds or more preferred but not required
• Coordinating with the kitchen and expo teams during events and high-volume service
• Bussing tables, running food and drinks, and properly disposing of and recycling waste
• Cleaning bars, ancillary event spaces, and restrooms, including sweeping and mopping
• Restocking supplies throughout the venue
• Remaining actively engaged in assigned tasks for extended periods
• Creating and maintaining a friendly, welcoming, and safe environment for guests and staff

POSITION SUMMARY

Our 1 Wythe Avenue team is seeking Barbacks and Drink Runners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while supporting Bartenders and floor staff across our Main Hall, private event spaces, Rooftop Terrace, everyday service, and private events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidates should be comfortable performing a range of tasks and duties, including but not limited to:

• Restocking beer, liquor, mixers, ice, and glassware throughout each shift
• Changing kegs and CO2 tanks, with the ability to lift or move 50 pounds or more preferred but not required

WORK SCHEDULE

Wednesday – Monday, closed Tuesdays. Variable hours and include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this part-time role is $11.35 per hour plus tips.
