Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Barback for J Paul’s Italian Steakhouse at the J Resort in Reno. This part-time position supports bartenders, stocks bar areas, and assists with drink orders while maintaining bar cleanliness and bar area organization.

Responsibilities include assisting with drink preparation, stocking supplies, and answering guest questions about the menu. Bar knowledge is preferred and applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience.
• Some bar knowledge preferred.
• Identification that establishes identity.
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assists bartenders in mixing and serving drink orders of patrons at the bar.
• Stocks the coolers and freezers with beer, beverages and other drinks as the need arises.
• Take and prepares the drink orders of the restaurant guests and servers as necessary.
• Wipes the bar and removes the trash as necessary.
• Checks and changes the CO2 pumps, liquor bottles, etc. as needed.
• Keeps up with the general cleanliness of the bar at all times.
• Assists the bartender in taking food/drink orders, running food/drinks, and answering questions about menu(s).
• Stocks the needed supplies and condiments on the bar.
