Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL is seeking a Full-Time Barback to support bartenders and food service, keeping the bar area stocked, clean and organized for fast-paced guest service.

You will assist with delivering beverages, clearing and cleaning, lifting moderate weight, and working AM/PM shifts. Prior barback or food runner experience is preferred; strong verbal communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist food service employees in delivering food to tables and behind the bar.

• Set tables, replenish linens, silverware, glassware and dishes.
• Serve water, appetizers and coffee to patrons.
• Support bartenders to ensure a fully stacked and efficient bar area.

Hidden among a natural waterfront landscape just 150 yards from the hotel, Oystercatchers is a favorite among locals and those seeking fresh seafood while enjoying a beautiful view.

Our barback will assist food service employees in delivering food to tables, maintain cleanliness and attend to needs behind the bar, clean tables, carry dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens; setting tables; replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes; and serve water, appetizers and coffee to patrons. The barback also supports bartenders by ensuring the bar is fully stacked, clean, and organized to deliver exceptional service to guests. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficiency behind the bar and helping create a seamless guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
