Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Barback to support bartenders, maintain a clean, fully stocked bar, replenish supplies, prepare garnishes, and keep the bar organized to enhance guest satisfaction. The role is part of a dynamic team at the Dallas location.

Responsibilities include stocking, bar setup/breakdown, and assisting during peak hours while ensuring quick, friendly service and adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Experience preferred; flexible schedule with nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous bar/restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage preparation.

• Restock all bar supplies including liquor, mixers, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and sanitize surfaces and tools.
• Prepare garnishes and ensure freshness for quick service.
• Keep ice bins stocked and assist with drinks during peak times.
• Dispose of trash and empty bottles as needed throughout the shift.
• Ensure storage areas are organized and well stocked.
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown for service.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to Bar Manager or Supervisor.
• Respond promptly to bartender requests to maintain uninterrupted service.

Essential Functions and Duties

• Assist bartenders by restocking all bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and washing bar tools and equipment.
• Prepare garnishes and ensure they are fresh and readily available for bartenders.
• Keep ice bins stocked and assist with beverage preparation during peak hours.
• Remove and dispose of trash and empty bottles as needed throughout the shift.
• Ensure all beverage storage areas are well-organized and properly stocked.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar for service.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the Bar Manager or Supervisor.
• Respond to bartender requests quickly and efficiently to ensure uninterrupted service.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage preparation.

Work Environment

• Primarily an indoor role with exposure to a fast-paced bar environment.
• Frequent standing and walking required throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks, such as stocking and cleaning.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
