Job summary

LexLive in Downtown Lexington, KY is hiring a Barback to support bartenders and maintain a well-stocked, clean bar area. This hourly role requires 21+ years old, reliability, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a high-energy entertainment venue.

You will restock supplies, clean glassware, garnish drinks, and assist with opening/closing duties while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age or older
• All education levels considered
• Previous experience encouraged but not required
• Basic math and computer skills
• Positive attitude and teamwork
• Ability to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure
• Able to work unsupervised and perform high-quality work
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Strong time management and multitasking
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods with accommodations
• Lift up to 50 lbs with accommodations

Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary guest service to every guest.
• Be a team player and assist across the venue as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas throughout the shift.
• Provide friendly interactions while upholding professional behavior.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, even during busy periods.
• Identify guests needing assistance and proactively help.
• Maintain personal cleanliness and hygiene.
• Report any safety hazards or broken equipment to management.
• Monitor surroundings and report concerns to management.
• Complete all side work and cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Assist bartenders with setup, restocking, and events.
