Porchlight, from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, is a true New York neighborhood bar in Chelsea. The Barback supports the bar and service teams, ensuring cleanliness and stocking to create memorable moments of hospitality for our guests during service.
The role requires a minimum of 2+ years as a Barback in a full-service restaurant, English fluency, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

The Barback is an important partner to our Bar and Service teams and is responsible for ensuring that our Bar team has everything they need in order to create memorable moments of hospitality for our guests. The Barback is also responsible for keeping all components of the bar area clean, organized, and stocked.
