Happy Hospitality in Chicago is seeking a Barback to stock the bar, assist bartenders and support bussing and food runner tasks. You will ensure cleanliness and proper setup while handling glassware, ice, and supplies.

The role requires flexibility for shifts, strong teamwork, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Certifications in Food Handlers and Bassett are preferred and encouraged.

Competenze

• Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations.
• Greet guests with warmth and courtesy.
• Safely and properly change beer kegs and soda dispensers.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.

Mansioni

• Stock and restock bar area with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies.
• Set up beverages, mixes, garnishes and supplies; prepare drink mixes.
• Work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends.
• Transport glass racks, ice and cases of liquor, beer and wine safely.
• Communicate clearly to perform and follow job requirements.
• Multitask calmly in a busy restaurant environment.
• Stand and walk for long shifts; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Follow all steps of service and food allergy procedures.
• Maintain bar stock security and inventory.
