Food For Thought in Chicago, IL is hiring a Barback / Food Prep Associate to support daily bar operations and assist with hot and cold appetizers. You will help maintain a clean, well-stocked bar and deliver high-quality hospitality experiences to guests.

The role requires dependability, organization and comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to assist front-of-house and back-of-house teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Basic food handling and sanitation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with setup, stocking, cleaning and closing.
• Restock beverages, ice, glassware, garnishes, mixers and bar supplies.
• Prepare and assist with appetizers and food prep per recipes.
• Maintain clean, organized bar stations and proper sanitation.
