Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a friendly, guest-focused bartender/server to join our team. You will assist the bartender with stocking, maintain cleanliness, and serve guests while delivering ridiculously personal experiences.

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, a year of hospitality or related experience, and familiarity with POS systems. We value diverse backgrounds and a warm, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role.
Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable).
Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
Knowledge or ability to learn the restaurant point-of-sale system.
Restaurant inventory and invoicing software proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the bartender with stocking, cleanliness, equipment handling and maintenance.
When necessary, serve food and beverages for the guests and service staff.
Greet and welcome our guests.
Check the service stations and tables to ensure accurate set-up and cleanliness.
Unpack deliveries, stock bar and change beer kegs.
Notify a manager if a guest is becoming intoxicated or rude to other guests.
