Job summary

House Of Flavors LLC in Laurel, MD is seeking a Barback to join our team. You will help open and close the bar, restock garnishes, prep drinks, restock supplies, and support bartenders to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Friendly, hard-working candidates who can stand for long periods and lift heavy objects, with the ability to work nights and weekends, are encouraged to apply. High school diploma/GED required; mixology or hospitality certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mixology or hospitality certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Keep tables, counters, bars, and other surfaces clean and wiped down.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Bus tables.
• Prepare cocktail garnishes and other ingredients necessary for making drinks.
• Replace beer kegs and empty liquor bottles.
• Take out the trash.
• Assist bartenders as requested.
