Job summary

Wind Creek Event Center has an immediate opening for part-time Barbacks. This role supports bartending staff by keeping bar areas stocked, clean, and organized to ensure smooth beverage service during events.

Responsibilities include replenishing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with setup and breakdown of bar stations. Candidates should lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for guest and staff interactions.
• Ability to stay calm and perform in fast-paced, high-volume event environments.
• Knowledge of basic bar operations, sanitation, and safe beverage service practices.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team during events.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders and beer tenders with stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of bar service areas
• Maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items including glassware, cups, napkins, drink supplies, and related products
• Transport and replenish beverages and supplies throughout assigned bar areas as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar and service areas during events
• Remove empty glassware, trash, and debris from bar areas promptly
• Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations before, during, and after events
• Support bartending staff with basic service needs under direction
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines and venue policies
• Assist with maintaining an efficient and professional guest service environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory or management staff
