Job summary

Boomtown Casino Biloxi is seeking a bartender to deliver fast, friendly, and professional service to casino guests and staff at the bar.

You will monitor alcohol service, promote casino events, and maintain bar supplies while upholding health and safety standards in a high-energy environment. Must be 21+, with Serv Safe certification preferred and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous bar experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete Serv Safe training certification course.
• Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
• Excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Available to work required schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Able to work in constricting areas.
• Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights.
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
• Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional service to casino guests, beverage servers and bartenders.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
• Promote casino events and programs.
• Maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment for the bar.
• Replace empty draught beer kegs as required.
• Ensure a clean and safe work station per health and safety standards.
