Job summary

Soho House & Co. in West Hollywood, CA is seeking a Barback to support the bartenders in delivering quality service to guests. You will maintain stock, prep garnishes, and keep the bar clean to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to multitask under pressure. You will assist with inventory, restock supplies, and help set up for events while maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in F&B or eagerness to learn.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of bar and support of staff to ensure guests have a positive experience.
• Assist bartenders and management in maintaining bar presentation and approachability for guests.
• Stock bar(s) with alcoholic beverages including spirits, liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, and drink mixes.
• Stock bar(s) with non-alcoholic beverages including soda, juices, and CO2 at bars.
• Stock liquor room with all supplies including liquor, beer, wine, dry goods, soda, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, beer coolers, and bars including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc.
• Ensure events are set up for anticipated volume and forecasted business levels; stock accordingly.
• Replenish paper goods (cups, napkins, etc.) at bars.
• Help with inventory and advise on replenishment needs through purchase orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
