Job summary

Soho House invites applications for a Barback (Part-Time, 20-29.99 hours/week) in our Oregon venue. You will assist bartenders, stock bars, prepare garnishes and keep service areas clean to support fast-paced operations and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in F&B, attention to detail, and strong teamwork. You will help ensure smooth bar operations, event setups, and ongoing cleanliness, with opportunities for growth within the Soho House network.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in F&B operation or eager to learn
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Detail oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Basic verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Uphold the bar area and support staff to ensure guests have a positive experience
• Assist bartenders and management in bar presentation and guest access
• Stock bars with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, garnishes, and supplies
• Stock liquor room with liquor, beer, wine, dry goods, and sodas
• Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, beer coolers, and bars
• Set up for events and forecasted business levels; stock accordingly
• Replenish paper goods at bars and assist inventory and purchasing
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
