Bayshore Club, located in the Grove, is seeking a Barback to join the team. You will assist in cleaning the bar, restocking, and ensuring smooth bar operation to support bartenders in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate should be passionate about teamwork, efficient, reliable, and attentive with strong time management and communication skills. This is a fulltime position at Grove Bay’s Bayshore Club, offering growth opportunities and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations calmly.
• Observant, thorough, responsible, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with opening/closing duties and restocking the bar with garnishes, napkins, straws, and glassware.
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Check taps and appliances; perform minor repairs or change kegs as needed.
• Maintain bar cleanliness: surfaces, floors, coolers, and storage areas.
• Learn menu items and memorize cocktail recipes.
• Take orders, prepare drinks, buss tables, open tabs, and process payments during peak hours.
• Speak to customers, answer questions, handle complaints, and communicate with team.
