Job summary

200main at Old Edwards Hospitality Group in Highlands, NC seeks a Barback to support the bartending team across all outlets. You will help keep bar areas stocked, clean, and organized to ensure smooth service and a great guest experience.

Responsibilities include restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers and glassware; maintaining inventory; assisting during high-volume periods; following sanitation and safety standards; and aiding with bar closing and setup.

Responsibilities

• Stand and walk for extended periods during service.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware throughout the shift.
• Clean and maintain bar areas, including countertops, sinks, equipment, and tools.
• Empty trash receptacles and keep all bar spaces free of clutter.
• Assist with preparation of garnishes and bar setup prior to service.
• Support Bartenders during high-volume periods with restocking and service needs.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels throughout the shift.
• Follow all ABC regulations, sanitation guidelines, and company safety standards.
• Assist with bar closing procedures such as cleaning, restocking, and breakdown.
• Change kegs and replenish ice bins as needed.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and communicate effectively with staff.
• Respond promptly to requests from Bartenders and Managers.
