Job summary

Mavericks Dancehall - The Colony is seeking a dependable Barback to support our bartending team in a fast-paced, high-energy bar. You will stock the bar, assist during busy hours, and help keep the operation running smoothly.

We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities, a welcoming team environment, and a clear path to advancement. TABC and Food Handlers certification are required, and you should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must have TABC and Food Handlers Certificates.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Previous experience is not required; training provided.
• Uniform required and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Must attend monthly team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, ice, mixers, glassware and supplies.
• Clean and reset the bar during and after shifts.
• Assist bartenders during busy hours (restocking, changing kegs, garnishes).
• Collect and wash glassware quickly and efficiently.
• Remove trash and recycling throughout the shift.
• Perform opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
