Qualifications

• Hands-on food and beverage knowledge and working knowledge of the hospitality business.
• Minimum bar experience in a large convention hotel is highly preferred.
• Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor and composure.
• Must engage guests at all levels with warm, personalized service.
• Clear written and verbal English communication with guests, management and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellence in guest service by supporting servers and bartenders.
• Maintain service standards and comply with hotel policies and local laws.
• Be knowledgeable about cocktail/beverage menus and supplies.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet bar areas and events.
• Support health, safety, and sanitation standards; prepare for inspections.
