Job summary

The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables is seeking a Barback to support the bar team by maintaining knowledge of bar and beverage offerings and ensuring service standards. The barback must be enthusiastic and maintain a positive attitude toward guests and staff.

This role covers beverage and food service in the Biltmore Bar and related areas, with station cleanliness as a core duty. High school diploma and at least two years of server experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' server experience preferred.
• English fluency required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of departmental policies and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment use and ensure proper operation.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Keep work areas clean, sanitized and organized.
• Assist bar staff with opening/closing tasks and restocking.
